are still single and/or still have a year to complete their degree? Those are the only reasons I would stay unless I felt that staying would increase my likelihood to go pro and get paid more. I might not even stay for those reasons. It all depends on what is happening in your life when it is happening. They may just need a physical change to get out of a personal funk.
These decisions are personal. If you aren't starting that will definitely play and element (that is virtually everyone on this list) and if you have other opportunities for success or money you will think seriously about those too. Your athletic prowess and health only last so long and you have to capitalize on them early if you want to use them to support yourself financially.
