Me too. I have two stories.
I got booted in my own parking stall that I paid for monthly at my apartment because I got in an accident and my car was being worked on so I borrowed my mom's car for the day. I tried to explain to them that I owned the parking stall and showed paperwork, but the kid told me the only way he was removing the boot is if I paid for it right then. Afterwards, I went into the offices to try to explain what happened, but they didn't care at all and were extremely rude and unprofessional. I was so ticked off because I paid an extra $50 or so each month for that parking spot.

Second one is even worse. I was visiting a friend over at his condo and parked in a mostly empty parking stall at night. Apparently, it was a permit only parking lot, but it wasn't labelled anywhere inside the parking lot at all. There were two entrances to the parking lot and they only had the sign at one entrance. I came in on the other entrance that had no sign at all so I had no indication at all that it was a permit only lot. When I came back out later that night, I found my car was towed along with a couple other cars that were there in a completely empty lot. I got a ride over to their offices and explained my case and let them know they didn't put signs on both entrances and didn't have any signs inside or on the individual stalls. They wouldn't do a thing for me and told me the only way I was getting my car is if I paid the full amount, which I believe was a couple hundred dollars. I ended up caving in and paying the amount just to get my car out. The next day, my friend told me they put signs up at both entrances and inside the parking lot that said it was permit only. I was livid!! I felt like my reasoning was valid and they knew it was so much that they didn't even waste a day before they put up signs at both entrances and inside the lot. I was way busy with school and work and didn't want to bother further with it, but that ticked me off so bad.

Those two experiences made me absolutely hate UPE and everything they do. I heard enough stories from other students along with mine to know they do not run a honest business. After getting burned by them several times, I was always way careful wherever I parked down there.
