If Kansas was Plan B if ATM said no, why aren't they in the PAC 12? At the time the Big 12 was on the verge of collapse, Kansas should have jumped at an offer like that. Why didn't they? Probably because no offer was made. Kansas wasn't considered. They are a great basketball school, but their market is terrible and they can't play football. No, Utah was plan B, and when Plan A didn't work, Utah got the invite. Kansas might have been plan C, but why would you need a plan C, there's no way Utah wouldn't accept.
