I disagree with many of these replies that we haven't seen anything. My OP never said we have seen wins or on the field performance on gameday.

But we have seen a difference with Grimes vs. Detmer.

We have seen a difference in attitude, accountability, attention to detail, respect, and a coach who is demanding more.

And we have seen Grimes experience coaching college football and having success everywhere making an impact on our team.

Now, the OP also said we will see if he can turn his disaster around. And we will see. I hope statistically the numbers improve and the # of wins improve. But the difference for Kalani of Ty vs. Grimes is like night and day so far.
