I am the same. I loved the idea of BYU long before I ever
knew it was anything more than a football and basketball team. In grade school I was always the kid in the BYU sweatshirt (I had at least 10) and there was never any doubt in my mind where I would go to school.
Now that my oldest is a senior and applying to college, it pains me to think he might not get in and experience the place that is more than a team, more than a school.
