realized BYU was not going to be an option due to grades. I remained a BYU fanatic while attending Ricks. While playing at Ricks, I hoped to be recruited by BYU and felt I was better than some on my team who were. But it never even occurred to me to be bitter or hate BYU. And I am glad I never was because later I had the chance to attend grad school at BYU and that was one of the best experiences of my life.
