Couldn't agree more. Graduate school was just school. BYU was
- A support system in becoming who I wanted to be. Spiritually, physically, academically, and character wise, BYU helped me towards achieving many of the most important goals (whether or not I knew they were my goals at the time) in my life.

- An experience that was fun, exciting, meaningful, and yet still relatively safe. Basically just about everything a college age kid is looking for in life without most of the pitfalls that the searchers can fall into at other institutions.

- Far and away the best place for me to have spent those formative years of my life.

Many people have had good experiences at other schools. BYU certainly does not have a monopoly on good and uplifting college experiences. For me though, there really is nothing that even comes close. I could list all the specific things that made it the incredible experience that it was, but I don't have the time, and probably not the words either. I am just incredibly grateful that I was able to attend this amazing university.
