I was accepted out of high school but went to another, more highly rated school that cost a lot less with a scholarship. When I got home from my mission the scholarship funding dried up so I took out loans (my only ones for undergrad) and transferred to BYU half way through Sophomore year. It was a great experience and I met my wife but it was school. Grad school has had a much greater effect on me professionally.

I was always a BYU FB fan though - I went to grade school in Provo in the early 80s before moving to California. The FB team matters a lot more to me than the school does. So I'd take Mike Leach or anyone else who would help the team get better and along with any "embarrassment" they might bring the school.
