Perhaps my situation is unique, but my discomfort with BYU (can’t bring myself to say “dislike” because I genuinely enjoy watching BYU), is derived entirely from watching alumni carelessly mock other schools and those who went to them. Even after graduating with a masters degree, I remained a die-hard BYU Football fan, up until I began working with so many BYU Alumni. It may not be their intent, but the way they obliviously throw around insults. On fellow worker left the company I was at because he was an Iowa graduate and he got tired of everyone mocking his school and him for going there.
