I don’t think he’s just saying it, he truly believes it. And as a guy that grew up in BYU’s dominant heyday that is a really hard comment to stomach. It’s really indicative of the state of the program. And I don’t think much is being done to change it, I believe they’ve settled for mediocrity. Sure they want to have better seasons but I don’t think they think it is possible to do so more often than occasionally. And I can tell you that their recruiting isn’t instilling much confidence in there being much improvement.
