Insurance companies are wise to this one, they know tobacco users have higher usage rates and are charging accordingly. You may be right about companies subsidizing for workouts, but don't think there isn't something on the back end that they get from the insurance company. i.e. they have found out subsidizing workouts makes the overall health pool healthier, and lowers premiums more than the subsidy costs. Just wait, we'll have a BMI calculator in our health insurance premiums one day. Get big and pay for it.
