Your examples don’t fit the second question
If you postpone your colonoscopy and then say you did that because you don’t believe the current guidelines are correct because of your own research, that would fit the criteria.

Again, it’s not just altering the schedule. It’s altering the schedule because you think you know more than everyone else. In your situation, I would almost prefer if you would just say, “I know this is against the recommendations and it might be sub optimal, but my son had a reaction and I decided to space out the vaccinations.” There’s nothing wrong with that.

That’s different from saying “Giving a child too many vaccines at once overwhelms their immune system and isn’t necessary. In other words, despite what the experts say, I believe it’s harmful and I’m not going to follow those recommendations and I’m going to share my story and my thoughts and therefore perpetuate these ideas.”

In that instance, you’re an anti-vaxxer. At least, you’re on the spectrum.

None of your comparable situations provide similar examples.
