don't have to do any type of strategic planning for water use based on the available water in the Colorado River Compact?
Just keep building golf courses and landscaped homes in a 120 degree desert?
People are arguing here that the compact should dictate the amount of water being released. If that doesn't provide enough water for the people south of each dam then they need to make some changes to their plans. If they continue to drain the water reserves above Lake Mead there will soon be no water at all to support their overuse.
There is a very good documentary on Netflix about the Colorado River you should watch.
