I'm simply stating the facts. Sorry the facts are upsetting you.

I'm sorry you are getting upset by this.... 

You keep arguing that Lake Powell is used to store water for "use during bad water years".   I'm sorry, but that is factually incorrect.  There is no infrastructure that allows the "use of water" at Lake Powell.

 

Lake Powell is not currently used for drinking water, or agriculture, or anything like that.  (Maybe around the immediate area, but not really for any metro area).

Lake Powell was built for, and is used for, hydroelectric power.  That's it.   Now....There is a proposal to build a $2 Billion pipeline to supply water to St George, but it hasn't been approved.   If that ever gets built, then Lake Powell's use will change.

 

So, right now, the only use of Lake Powell is for recreation, and power generation.
