Disagree. You and your daughters fail to recognize that major sports are
one of the best investments a university can make. One reason they will have such a quality educational experience is because of the success that previous athletes had while wearing BYU colors. We owe much more to people like LaVell Edwards, Steve Young, Jim McMahon, Danny Ainge, Ty Detmer, Jimmer Fredette, etc. than probably any other individuals for BYU being so strong academically.
Student-athletes simply add more value to a university than other students do. So I have no problem with them receiving more direct benefits for doing so.

POLL: Yay or nay: Every student pays $100-$150 extra every fall semester as part of tuition. That is listed as a “sports fee” but for that the students get a pass to every school sanctioned sporting event.
