I propose that every student pay an $100 extra for the Engineering department
Then all students can get a pass to the Engineering department's extra curricular activities.
-They can choose to attend or not. It does not matter if they have interest in Engineering or not. Who doesn't love Engineering?
-$100 won't hurt them. BYU tuition is low; therefore clearly all students have extra money. Lots of it.
-All students benefit from the outstanding Engineering program whether they admit this or not
-It is a fun, social and even academic atmosphere
-Many students fail to recognize that this is one of the best investments a university can make
-All other departments owe their success to the Engineering program
-No one was interested in BYU until the Engineering department established itself
-Pay an extra $100 and BYU is still a bargain.
-The Engineering department can have special VIP treatment for those who want to pay even more.

POLL: Yay or nay: Every student pays $100-$150 extra every fall semester as part of tuition. That is listed as a “sports fee” but for that the students get a pass to every school sanctioned sporting event.
