I'm thinking you're thinking of the college kids that come from a different
economic class. They are probably not the people that ate oatmeal for breakfast everyday (bought a $30 50lbs. sack), in order to have something affordable to eat. That come from a family of 5 that only spends $100-200 on groceries per month. But believe in NOT taking government handouts. Who work themselves through college doing the early morning jobs. For whom eating out is a huge luxury. Seriously these are the people that should not be asked to pay out more for school than what they already do. If they vlaue the sports for another $150 let them make the decision. It is not our right to demand it from them.
And yes I know people like this that go to BYU.

POLL: Yay or nay: Every student pays $100-$150 extra every fall semester as part of tuition. That is listed as a “sports fee” but for that the students get a pass to every school sanctioned sporting event.
