We've occasionally had some things going in our favor but overall I think we've had some extremely bizarre bad luck during the streak. For example ..


- We're a measly 8 of 15 on field goals tries against utah during the streak (barely above 50%?!?!)

- The ball has been on the ground 33 times during the streak. Utah has recovered 20 fumbles ... BYU only 13.

- Utah has been called for pass interference only 3 times during the streak. Three times on 342 pass attempts.

- We turned it over 5 times in a row once which ESPN says happened twice this decade or in other words happens about once every 3,500 games

- Utah won the 2010 game thanks to a blown review and an "Onside Punt" that was shanked so terribly it bounced off on of our own dudes for a Utah recovery

- And don't get me started on how the deflected passes always seem to magically parachute into the hands of the utes while ours drop perfectly between our defenders a la the below video ...
