If a star Chemist needed to be on the practice squad
To get into school and he brought more value to the school than a star athlete, I would have no problem. That’s essentially the situation with the football players. They are basically practice squad masters students that bring more value than the star masters students, by a lot.

1-3 exceptions per year should be guaranteed. It's not a big deal. BYU needs athletes to truly gain exposure.

BYU is only considered somewhat "normal" due to what the football and basketball teams have done/do. It's a no brainer.
