of course we do - we do it all of the time - if you're unfamiliar with the SOAR program then please investigate. It
will be asinine if this kid can't get in and at the same time we have the SOAR program.
Accommodations are made at ALL private universities for minority students with less than ideal academic records... it would be ridiculous to reject a kid with less than ideal grades because he also happens to be really good at football.

1-3 exceptions per year should be guaranteed. It's not a big deal. BYU needs athletes to truly gain exposure.

BYU is only considered somewhat "normal" due to what the football and basketball teams have done/do. It's a no brainer.
