I basically grew up running around the U campus at night. I have 40 years of history experiencing crime in that area. It's gotten worse the past few years.

My office is currently only a few blocks away. I was the only manager that voted against moving to the area... Now everybody wants to move again.

Guess where all the crime/drugs/homeless went when they started cleaning up the Reo Grand area?

My mom lives in a nice 'east side' neighboorhood where now most people have bars on the windows. My sisters, who love the area, have both moved away because their kids didn't feel safe.

You can 'smack talk' about the BYU Police/HC... but just understand what it's like to live around the U right now.
