BYU were in a so called P5 conference back in the late 70's, 80's, I believe BYU would have been a powerhouse of a program.

It's to bad when Arizona and Arizona State left the WAC, wish BYU could have moved to the Pac or even the Big, at the time.

Steve Young admitted that he worked with Holmoe to get Detmer as coach.... That was a Tom Holmoe hire, not Sitake hire
