I'm sure you understand they played the last 5 games w/o their QB and RB. Tough losses, but yikes. As a Y fan, how would your expectations change if Wilson went down?
I'm sure you're excited about your offense this year, and guess what? Utah statically had a better O and returned more starters on O. So... by your logic your offense should be just as dull?
It's like Utah fans making a blanket statement like Kalani's coaching record is 500. So Byu is going to go 6-6. Also, Northwestern would big Byu's biggest win in years. They finished ranked 22. When was the last team the Y beat that was ranked?
Lastly, Pac has good teams just missing a Clemson or Bama with SC's decline, so it's perceived as a weak accomplishment. I mean the p12 champs blew Byu out so where does that put the Y? I think it's interesting all the talk on here and yesterday's media day about BYU's "Brutal" schedule. I counted Brutal numerous time. If anyone national talks about Utah the Pac12 is weak. But if we're talking about Byu, it's never mentioned. You can't have a brutal schedule with 3/4 p5 teams from said conference. So either Byu's schedule is Ok, or the Pac isn't that bad. It's ok to read nice things about Utah. If you lose to them, that means they are good. No shame. If you win, it might prove to be one of the best wins in a decade if Utah wins the south and p12.
