They had a 5 game stretch where they scored 40+ points last yr...
Against P5 competition. I know it wasn’t sustained but still, that kinda debunks your theory. Utah isn’t some offensive juggernaut and they’ll have inconsistent games. But poor QB play/lack of elite WR’s have plagued the Utes for awhile. It isn’t like Kyle has some mandate out there to play poorly on defense, and honestly the last few offensive coordinators have’t done a great job with PC, and Kyle is quick to give them the hook. Utah actually threw too much last yr at the detriment of the offense. When we had Brian at QB offense was fine. And Huntley has his issues, but he was also rolling in stretches last yr. Like I said, this is all conjecture and my opinion is obviously biased, but I think this season will prove me to be more right vs CB. If I am wrong I’ll man up and admit it.
