The truth is Utah's offense hasn't ever been a threat and even with Covey, Shelley, and Moss back they aren't going to be blowing up defenses.
Utah has built their program on Defense, and I have no doubt that the guys starting this year will be good but how good is yet to be known. They lost their entire secondary and a few on the line right? This may actually be an odd year where their strength is their O because their D has to replace their leaders and will be starting a lot of fresh faces.
Having said that, I do not follow Utah football nearly at all, just sharing what I've gathered from an article here and there and from my wife's ex-BYU fan brothers (loud and proud since 2004!).
Maybe if they had last year's D with this years O they'd be something but I just don't see what Steele sees in them. Even the article admitted he has them much higher than other analysts. Just one dude's opinion.
