No, not completely different. Who took first reps most of the season?
Who was considered for most of the game planning for most of the season? Which QB had more time with the receivers? It was a choice but still pretty much the same outcome.
An unforeseen turn of events forced a freshman QB to lead the team well into the season. The dynamics at play of using an untested freshman QB are they same regardless of whether Mangum was injured or not. It just came at the hands of a demotion rather than an injury.
