Why would 2 losses to close out the season matter when the starting QB and star
RB were out? That's a significant factor to consider with the rankings. Not to mention all the other guys that sat out the bowl game. Those guys playing makes a huge difference. Utah also showed they have the depth to win must-win games even when 2 of their most important players are out.
Utah is one of the most experienced teams in the county loaded with NFL talent. On paper this is the best team Utah has had since 2008.
