of not needing to take it too seriously. That actually makes the games a lot more fun...and being a fan less stressful. It's okay sometimes to lose when you have a true frosh QB and a 4th string RB.
BYU will be great this year. Fantastic D, promising young offense. Probably not the top 15 type of run, but an 8-, 9- win season is likely, IMO. That's a great stepping stone.
I think it's harder when you have a 3 or 4-year starter at a key position like QB and just not have it pan out like you thought.
Utah had that with Wynn, Wilson, and Williams. They were good but never really seemed to improve to the level of great that's needed to cross the threshold. I'm not holding my breath on Huntley so I don't buy the hype...they overrate returning talent...but a top 25 type season for Utah is easily foreseeable. Given that they've averaged 9 wins a season for the last 5 years. That's great. That's a stable, legit program.
I think BYU's right behind. By the time Zach's a senior, BYU will be starting in several pollsters top 20.
