Thanks, i donated to benefit my daughter. My kidney went to someone else and a
Good samaritan’s kidney went to my daughter (her second transplant). My wife donated her kidney to my daughter 12 years ago. It would definitely be a harder decision if it wasn’t a family member, but after going through it, i wouldn’t hesitate if i had another kidney to give. It is such an easy disease to wipe out if more people were willing. Someone having to be on dialysis is no way to live.

Yeah I don't think I'd seriously consider it if I were in your shoes. I'm not altruistic enough to take that risk

I read somewhere that death isn’t usually an issue, but an increased risk of kidney disease... like 3% of donors
