I slowly feel myself leaning towards going back to G5. I've been pro indy, but

it's just hard not having anything to play for. Outside of NY6 bowls or the CFP, there isn't anything to play for other than some podunk bowl that someone decides to throw together.

As a fan it's hard. I'm guessing as a player it's even more discouraging. They start the season with alot of hype and excitement. Once they lose a few games they no longer have anything "real" to play for. They can't look towards a conference championship and work towards that goal.  The only thing left to play for is pride of not losing and I think because of that they lose atleast 1-2 more games a year. Especially the games they shouldn't lose.

I don't want to go back to the MWC, nor do I want to join the AAC. What I want is to stick out till the next conference realignment. But that's going to be along 5-6 years. We'd lose alot of money leaving Indy, but would we as a fanbase and a program be happier? The grass is always greener on the otherside.
