This!!! We are 2-11 in Games 3 and 4 against P5 opponents since going Indy.
The two wins were:
- 2014 against Virginia. It was at home and 2 of our first 3 games were against UCONN and Houston. We hadn't been beat to a pulp by three straight P5s to start the season.
- Last year against Wisconsin. Preceded by Arizona and Cal, the two long-term Pac-12 teams that have never gone to a Rose Bowl.
I'm pro-Indy, but starting the season with three or four straight P5s is not a recipe for success.
