Well I wouldn't taint myself with thoughts of revenge. That's for sure.
It's part of the package when I choose to not be a jerk face.
My ex-wife treated me horribly. She nearly drove me to kill myself. It was only because I have an older brother who was already dead that I was able to hang in there. I didn't want my parents to lose two of their sons.
Regardless, my parents treated my ex-wife with respect almost always. Yeah, there was the "I hope all this turmoil is worth 2 inches" bit, but my parents had no desire to hurt her in any way. Instead, they tried to support me.
Why waste effort with ugliness? What type of person does that?
I'd guess a person who isn't worthy to enter the temple. Yeah.
