No. Nick's actions sabotaged him. Folks, I'm a huge BYU fan and hate it when
players do things that causes them to be ineligible. I'm concerned that many on this site are more concerned about the fact that the parents were hurt and the Dad went over the top then they are about Nick's actions. The simple fact is that Nick was breaking NCAA rules. Since he wasn't man enough to own up to it himself, his ex Father-in-Law put him in a position where he had to own up to it. As far as what happened to Dave Rose and BYU, put that blame where it really belongs. On the NCAA Committee.
