Every other P5 team in the nation goes through that type of meat grinder during
their conference season. And guess what? When they go on the road after playing 5, 6, 7, or 8 straight P5 teams, the next team up that they have to compete against is ANOTHER p5 team.
The only difference with BYU is that we front-load our schedule with 4 P5 teams when we're fresh and relatively healthy. All the other 65 P5 teams have to do it at the back end of their seasons after they've dealt with 7-10 tough games and a season's worth of injuries taking their toll.
