I'm still torn on the topic and hear the "let them learn and make mistakes at home" rationale for sure. I just don't know if the recent research about addiction, mental health issues, dopamine, etc., related to smart phones means basically we've all had it wrong for 5+ years and a serious pivot is needed, but inertia prevents it from happening.
