BSU has passed up BYU in terms of recruiting. Honor Code and academic standards need to be taken into account.
Winning does matter.
CB loves to say how "nobody" remembers the AAC and MWC champions...garbage. Plenty of highly ranked (and higher ranked) recruits are going to those lowly G5 conference winners. Opinions don't matter here, just see where the kids are going. They are "voting with their feet" so to speak.
We should never be out recruited by Toledo, Tulane, and ECU. But then again, we probably didn't go after a single recruit head-to-head and unless they are LDS they aren't going to come out to Utah (HC and academic standards).
