The thing is - BYU is recruiting this “well” despite mediocre/poor seasons.

I would imagine BYU’s recruiting ceiling is higher in their current situation and losses cause less of a penalty to BYU’s reputation given the competition.

If KS can figure it out or if he gets replaced with a better coach then BYU should have a higher ceiling than they would in a G5 conference.
