The only way that I can ever see us doing the things you mentioned is by a huge

upgrade in the coaching, top to bottom. The only way we upgrade the coaching staff is to loosen the purse strings, and I think we know that is not happening as long as BYU football continues to get exposure and make more money than it could in a G5 conference.

Otherwise, we are left to hoping that the coaching staff can achieve objectives that it heretofore has not, i.e., innovative schemes and player development.
