I'm fine with handsfree GPS. No reason to do away with that, and I'm not aware
of any law that prohibits it.
Anything where you have to hold the phone, look down at it, type, etc. is the problem.
And just like speeding, if we regulate it, people will do it less, which is good. Deterrents aren't perfect, but they help.

Yes but so are tons of other things we would never ban so that doesn't really move the discussion forward at all.
