And we've been burned way too many times by experts telling us stuff that doesn't happen. So we need to see it.

"Experts" told us we were going to have another ice age if we didn't stop pollution. Then they told us that the polar ice caps were going to be gone by now. Now they're telling us that we're about beyond the point of no return yet again. To be clear - I do think we need to protect the environment and reduce pollution. But I have a hard time taking their dire predictions seriously as to how quickly the world is going to fall apart.

Some experts were predicting millions of deaths from COVID-19, while other experts were saying they were wrong. Which expert should we believe? I think most tend to believe the one who confirms their own belief already.

With some of this stuff - I just think the experts don't even know - they're just making guesses. And they're better at making some guesses than others.
