of faith even when you follow science and the experts. Another thought I had is you need to look at a problem holistically. In other words, a problem like Covid 19 needs more than just epidemiologists looking at it and giving input to decision makers. It needs more than virologists. It also requires economists and experts who can provide input into the negative health impacts of the unintended consequences of stopping the virus (e.g., the negative health impacts of a badly damaged economy).
So, I listen to the experts. And not just those from a narrow field. And, at the end of the day, there's a leap of faith from any of us in choosing what to believe.
