I shared your assessment with my brother who is retired Intell officer and works
for the DOD now.

His thoughts:

It will be a culling of the herd. The strongest and fittest, most adaptable and flexible will survive. The others will fall by the wayside as he predicts. New more effecient ways will be developed to get sport venues to the viewers. Vaccines will be critical in allowing people to return to the events in large numbers. In the mean time, if players want to play their gonna have to take big salary cuts. Otherwise younger more ambitious ones will stop forward who will. Colleges who have become too over bloated with financial endowments and other exotic expenditure will have to cut back or they will die. Programs like Women’s studies and other nonsense degrees will also become more rare as “snow flakes” realize it’s a real world out there and they’re gonna have to have real job skills. It won’t all go away. Some of it will survive. But the herd will get culled and that’s not necessarily a bad thing and so that’s why I don’t think the government should step in and try to save everything. Some minimal support but let the rest whither on the vine.

So M4t4d0r, nice report I am interested in hearing your updates as this progresses.
