This guy is clearly out in left field. Self-published paper, sole author, *formerly* worked at a university but not now - does he sound like someone who is highly respected in the scientific community? But you all couldn't be bothered about that, because you were so excited to find somebody who would tell you what you want to hear.

This guy ridiculed everyone else in the field of epidemiology, and then made the most ridiculous *prediction* of anybody who claims to be a scientist with some knowledge of pandemics. A prediction that was proven false almost immediately after he made it, and (unfortunately) will continue to look worse and worse as the pandemic progresses.

But that hasn't stopped CBers from posting about this guy, over and over again, and patting themselves on the back for doing so.
