Moderation is crazy here. I've only been here a few months but I've had numerous
Posts deleted. Most of which are for things that I think are borderline against the rules. The no posting after a miscategorization is the most obnoxious one. I could see if you get warned and within a certain timeframe you do it again, then you might need to rethink your posting but it's so subjective.
Politics has seeped into every aspect of our society and it bleeds through in most posts that aren't sports related and even many that are.
I would suggest rather than silent moderation they need to go to public moderation for certain things. When a post drifts into politics and they want it to stop, step into the thread with a reminder. No need to delete posts or give post bans. Just remind people if they want to talk politics or religion they need to switch to that category with a new post.
