I may not agree with every bit of moderation that goes on... but I'm glad it's there...
I've said some stupid stuff before, I know I have and I know I was stupid enough to appeal on it too and I'm glad it was removed. Looking back... yep, dumb! And I know I'm going to say more stupid stuff that will need to be reported/removed and whatever... and I'll probably be upset about it and then look back and realize I was a moron then too.
I think the problem with this board is that we just need to get along. We have 1 common thing on this board, and it's BYU sports. The board has gotten to be way to negative... and I know I have added to that, I'm as guilty as anyone else.... again, I'll admit my fault here. Heck I was the most negative person about the Crowton fiasco and then Bronco... my ignore list clearly demonstrates that people got tired of my crap.
I just wish the politics category would just go away. It's divided this board way more than it should have. My wife was just tell us last night over dinner that in her family they had 1 rule when she was growing up, and it was to never discuss politics among family members.
The mod's here do a good job. I may not see eye to eye with them all the time... but I know their job is tough, I know they get threatened a lot, it's not fair to them, they are just trying to keep the board clean and a place we can all enjoy.
I think it's US that need to do better... we don't need less moderation... we need to do more self moderation ourselves.
