I should clarify, it seems you can break many of the rules if you do so
Eloquently and if the mods agree with your view point. Now about the latter half of that, I'm not 100% sure it's accurate. It could just be that a certain type of poster is more quick to run to the mods to get the person disagreeing with them silenced. However when the mods are called in they only seem to review the post flagged and not anything else that leads up to it. This could also result in the perceived bias.
