Yup. However, I very much doubt money is the issue.
ESPN doesn’t view BYU as anything special. It has given Boise and Liberty TV deals. My guess is BYU is valued about the same as a top tier G5 or mid tier P5 program.
What probably ultimately comes down to is what games we can schedule to keep the program relevant.
