The trouble is I think very few bottom tier P5 teams want to schedule us for fear of being exposed as being undeserving. The B1G is a perfect example. Michigan, Nebraska, Michigan State, and Wisconsin have been very willing to play us because they are comfortable with their standing on the college football stage. Rutgers, Illinois, MD, Purdue, Indiana, etc won’t. Minnesota is the only one willing to do so. The SEC has been a little better. The Pac 12 has probably been the best because we will have played every team in that conference during independence after next year. The Big 12 has been the worst. Only Texas and WV has scheduled and played us. Baylor is on the docket but I doubt the others will schedule. They look really bad denying BYU membership and getting beat by us.
