This was 30 years ago. I had no idea that was considered a “wealthy” area. Especially since just a mile away they were homes worth millions of dollars. Probably mostly because our social circle was our ward, which had pretty large boundaries so that came with diversity and lots of different kinds of folks. Looking back I can see that most were pretty well to do, but it was nice not realizing that, or even caring about it.
