I looked at houses for over a year before we decided to finally pull the trigger. Because I grew up as a "west sider," during the majority of the year plus looking, I didn't even consider the east side due to preconceived notions about living on the east side. I have found that, in the half a year we have lived here, those notions are simply not true. There are great people wherever you go. There are also arrogant and snobby people as well.
